T'ai Chi for Beginners!

You asked and we listened. We now have a weekly drop-in T'ai Chi for Beginners class! Louise Keefer joins our team of welcoming mind-body movement teachers.

Louise's gentle and non-competitive class will help you achieve better balance, strength, range of motion, memory, mental focus, and overall well-being. No t'ai chi experience is needed!

Louise was introduced to t'ai chi in 2006, while she was feeling stressed out, overworked, and in dire need of a healthier lifestyle. The t'ai chi ch'uan lessons she took changed her life.

T'ai chi has allowed Louise to overcome some lifelong health challenges and to follow a more holistic path to peace and wellness. Over the past 10 years, she has developed a unique, Western teaching style. Her approach is casual and clear: she incorporates the goals of each student and encourages questions while fostering the sense of community inherent to group practice.

Whether you're interested in improving your strength or balance, increasing focus and cognition, reducing stress, addressing the challenges of a chronic disease, or enhancing overall well being, adding an awareness of t'ai chi will no doubt help you, and your practice may well enrich your life in ways you never expected.
