Kick off 2020 with Pilates!

You are welcome to use your passcard with The Studio to drop in on any of these 45-minute Pilates mat sessions, January 8-February 12. This isn't a progressive series, so feel free to join in on any one session or sign up for all!

Starting Wednesday, January 8, join us for a 6-week, beginner-friendly Pilates mat class led by Kathleen Lezama. Pilates is a method of exercise which is designed to strengthen the core, increase flexibility, and mobilize the spine. Other benefits of pilates include better body control, alignment, and balance. This class will be suitable for both beginners and those with Pilates experience. Modifications will be offered, and all will be encouraged to work at their own level. We often get questions from students who want to try pilates but are worried that it might be too hard and they won't be able to keep up. Kathleen Lezama, our Pilates for Your Core teacher, sat down to address people's biggest fears about pilates and to reassure you that pilates isn't competitive, intimidating, or scary.
